When it comes to creating high-performance fitness environments, the flooring beneath your feet matters just as much as the equipment you use. Vinyl Floors Houston is excited to announce that we now carry Hero Rubber Flooring made with Nike Grind, one of the most innovative and environmentally responsible athletic flooring solutions available today.
Whether you're building a commercial gym, school weight room, university fitness center, recreation facility, CrossFit box, sports performance center, or personal training studio, Hero Rubber Flooring delivers the durability, safety, comfort, and aesthetics that modern athletic facilities demand.
What is Nike Grind?
Nike Grind is an innovative sustainability program developed by Nike that transforms recycled athletic shoes and manufacturing scrap materials into new products. Instead of ending up in landfills, these materials are repurposed into high-performance surfaces including athletic tracks, playgrounds, sports courts, and premium rubber flooring.
Hero Flooring incorporates Nike Grind materials into its rubber flooring collections to create beautiful, durable surfaces with unique visual character. The colorful speckles visible throughout the flooring come directly from recycled Nike athletic footwear, giving every installation a distinctive appearance while supporting sustainable building practices.
Unlike many traditional gym flooring products, Hero Rubber Flooring contains no recycled tire content. This helps reduce odor while providing superior indoor air quality and a cleaner aesthetic.
